TA Plays: ‘Infinity Run’ – Another Behind-the-back Endless Runner

Later this afternoon, Jared and I spent some time with Infinity Run [ Free ]. It’s not exactly an endless runner in the traditional sense. Infinity Run has several levels split across an enormous world map, some of which seem to be gated by player level. We’re guessing that the “infinity” part of the game’s name stems from the fact that you can repeat levels over and over again. If you’re seen an endless runner before, you’ll feel right at home with this. Swipe and tap gestures will get you through the usual obstacles and let you hack at the occasional monster that gets in your way. As you play, you can pick up coins that can be exchanged for one-use power-ups as well as character upgrades. Infinity Run is about as derivative as it can be. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, as it’s at least competent at what it does. Give it a look, see if it clicks. App Store Link: Infinity Run 3D , Free (Universal)
